Job Description: Sales Executive/Internet Consultant


Internet Media Consultants, a leading real estate, mortgage and vacation website design company in Colorado, is seeking an outside sales rep for the Greater Denver market, and looking to expand Nationwide. Travel outside Colorado is not required, but may be an option.

Due to explosive growth, we are currently seeking an outgoing, dynamic, self motivated candidate to join our team as an Independent Sales Representative. Being an outside sales representative, you will develop market potential through lead generation, recommending services & solutions, closing sales, and advancing relationships with existing clients.

Candidates should have outstanding phone skills, excellent presentation skills, and be money motivated. The position will involve over-the-phone tours of our product line, scheduling presentations and speaking in front of groups. Good knowledge of the Internet and excellent closing skills are also essential. This position will involve working out of your home office and training will be conducted at Internet Media's corporate headquarters.

The position entails:

  • Setting appointments via phone (cold calling)
  • Doing one-on-one and group sales presentations
  • Generating new sales and meeting quotas and goals
  • Travel within territory (typically statewide)
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments of potential customers

Mandatory requirements for the position are:

  • Minimum 2 years outside successful sales experience
  • Proficiency with Internet, Email, MS-Office, etc.

Additional attributes for the position, which are desired but not mandatory:

  • Prior experience working from home office
  • Prior commission based compensation structure
  • Prior experience setting up and performing multiple group presentations
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the real estate industry
